Fresh out of university I have realised that I need to start working on some sort of digital self-identity branding. These were created when I was just starting out using Adobe Illustrator, so I worked on building the designs up using basic shapes and colours to give a simple yet overall effective design. I based these on my own image (no, really?) using my hair as the identifiable feature. The only trouble I have with using my hair as a consistent feature in my personal designs is that I have a tendency to change my hair rather a lot, so unless I wanted to use the exact same design I would have to instead maintain the same style throughout. Nevertheless, I do like the simplicity of these designs and the 'badge' style that can be easily used in terms of placement with layout and typography.
